The Truth About Lizards
This was a fun illustration/photo book hybrid that I got to design. I got to play with color, shape and overlapping, all while keeping the hierarchy intact.

You the Jury...
One Day
This spread from a book about explaining how juries work (an admittedly dry subject) involved finding the appropriate stock image, siloing and editing it, designing the callouts , choosing a background and fitting the whole thing in the most engaging, child-friendly manner. Another fun project and an inviting spread.
Mysteries From The Depths
For the start of this book, we wanted a real knockout image, but still have have type that can be rad. I faded out to black the top of this striking image of an underground river with cave paintings and let the cool picture draw the kids into the words.
Bandido
A cute Spanish language trade book that changed editors and vision and went through extensive revising, but still came out looking cute and vivid and very interesting to read.
