PAUL
CATALANO
Le Corbusier

Le Corbusier was an influential—albeit eccentric—architect from the mid 20th century. He's famous for architectural designs that were large and boxy and were on pillars to create open spaces (see this building as an example) within which to live. The brief was to "brand" the man.
There were many iterations of logos I created, but all used his work as an inspiration. For the final logo, I used a very tall thin font under a solid block of black to represent his iconic look of monolithic squares on stanchions. I used primarily white and black, but splashed some vibrant colors in small doses as Le Corbusier liked to splash little squares of color admits seas of neutrals.
