The assignment was to take the venerable and prestigious magazine and design a cover in keeping with the look and aestethic of the magazine. This also meant redesigning its logo. I decided on a picture that included the "spanning the ages" subhead in its very image. I used muted colors, that still "popped." Overall, the assignment called the redesign to not "cheapen" the magazine. I think that was accomplished.
